This Privacy Policy explains how Sydera ("Sydera," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Sydera mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
Sydera is a mobile app that delivers a personalized daily message ("Angel Message") based on your natal astrology and menstrual cycle information. Sydera is currently in a private beta.

Information we collect
To provide the App's core features, we collect the following information that you give us directly:
- Account information. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier for your account and, depending on your Apple settings, your name and an email address (which may be a private relay address provided by Apple).
- Birth information. Your date of birth, time of birth (if you provide it), and birthplace. We use this to calculate your natal astrological chart.
- Menstrual cycle information. Cycle details you enter, such as recent period dates and typical cycle length, used to determine your current cycle phase.
- Information you log in the App. Any optional notes or entries you record.
- Device token for notifications. If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token so we can deliver your daily message.
We also automatically collect limited technical information needed to operate and improve the App:
- Diagnostic and usage data. Crash reports and error logs (via our error-monitoring tools) that help us find and fix problems. Apple's TestFlight also collects usage and crash data during the beta, subject to Apple's own privacy terms.
How we use your information
We use your information only to operate and improve the App, specifically to:
- Calculate your natal chart and determine your cycle phase;
- Generate your personalized daily Angel Message;
- Deliver that message to you as a notification at your chosen time;
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App and fix problems;
- Communicate with you about the beta and respond to feedback or support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
Sensitive information
Your birth details and menstrual cycle information are sensitive. We treat them with care, use them only for the features described above, and do not share them for advertising or sell them to anyone.
How your information is processed and shared
We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to run the App. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
- Authentication and database hosting — to sign you in and securely store your data.
- Application hosting — to run the App's backend servers.
- Astrology calculation service — to compute natal and transit chart data. We send the birth details needed for the calculation.
- AI message generation — to generate the wording of your daily message from your chart and cycle context.
- Push notification delivery — Apple's Push Notification service delivers your notifications.
- Error and crash monitoring — to detect and diagnose technical problems.
We share information with these providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it to comply with the law.
Your choices and rights
- Notifications. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings. Turning them off stops daily message delivery.
- Access and deletion. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated personal information by contacting hello@sydera.app.
- Editing your details. You can update your birth and cycle information within the App.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data (for example, to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use). To exercise any of these, contact us at the email above.
Children's privacy
Sydera is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted connections to our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
